Assistant Organizer Position

We're currently seeking Assistant Organizers to join our growing team on an as-needed, per-project basis. While we can't guarantee consistent weekly hours, we offer the opportunity to be a part of rewarding organizing projects.

As an Assistant Organizer, you'll work alongside a Lead Organizer to help declutter and organize our clients' homes in the Nashville area. Your role will involve transforming spaces to significantly improve their functionality and appearance.

Our typical schedule is Tuesday through Thursday (with some Fridays), 9am-3pm. We're looking for assistants available 2-4 days per week. Starting pay is $25 per hour, with potential to advance to a Lead Organizer role.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Work under Lead Organizer to implement the vision for each client’s job scope 

  • Work alongside other Assistant Organizers to complete delegated tasks 

  • Loading/unloading job supplies 

  • Take out recycling, trash, and debris 

  • Sort household items 

  • Light cleaning 

  • Occasionally deliver donations to specified nonprofit

  • Open-minded and non-judgmental, capable of working with diverse individuals and personalities

  • Strong interpersonal skills, including effective communication and active listening to understand client needs

  • Excellent verbal communication abilities

  • Exceptional attention to detail

  • Task-oriented

  • Capable of following instructions, staying focused, and prioritizing tasks effectively

  • Positive and professional demeanor

  • Self-motivated, able to work independently and as part of a team

  • Commitment to complete client confidentiality

Physical Demands:

  • Ability to lift or shift 25-50 pounds, climb stairs, and use a ladder or step stool

  • Physical stamina for bending, squatting, and standing during 5-7 hour shifts

Additional Requirements:

  • Ability to travel to various project locations throughout Nashville and the Middle TN area

  • Valid driver's license and reliable personal transportation

  • Clean background check

  • Access to a computer or smartphone for managing work-related tasks, including scheduling, training, and project details

Work Environment:

  • All jobs will be performed in a professional team environment in client homes with normal noise levels and various distractions.

  • Working in a variety of homes will require you to tolerate normal household odors as well as varying levels of dust, dirt, and pet dander depending on the space.
